This museum offers so many artifacts (over 10,000) of the Hollywood era including a pair of red slippers from the Wizard of Oz. Tickets cost $15 per adult and you can buy them on-line and in person when they are open. Unfortunately it's currently closed due to the restrictions that the Mayor Garcetti has placed on the city.
This is located right next to Hollywood Blvd in the historic Max Factor Building.
